The Sycamore Cafe: A Delightful Dining Experience in Sycamore, IL

10/10 everything was just on point and amazing today! Halle was so on top of it and made sure to make our lil girl smile! Our daughter said she liked you and I know her judgment is great! Thank you Halle it was so beautiful to not feel rushed. We think we might move out of state in a couple months and this place has been the heart of our dates so today was super special and without you even knowing it you made it super special thank you!

We came for lunch today and it was almost closing. They were so nice and it didn’t feel rushed, however the server was busy with closing duties so I had to wait a bit for refills on my drink. The food was delicious! My mother is handicapped and the tables were spacious and there is plenty of room for accommodations! The portions were HUGE! The prices were very fair for the amount of food you received!

The breakfast menu at Sycamore Cafe is a delightful blend of classic favorites and creative twists. I opted for the skillet. The perfectly poached eggs on top were the star of the dish and signature fluffy pancakes and a drizzle of maple syrup, and they were absolutely divine. The pancakes were light and airy, cooked to perfection. My dining companion had the omelete Mexicana, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. We also indulged in their house-made tea, which was rich and aromatic—definitely a great start to the day! Overall, my experience at Syncamore Cafe was nothing short of fantastic. Exceptional service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere made it memorable. My husband was in the area and stopped in Sycamore Cafe. He enjoyed the food and the interaction with the waitress Allie. He knew I would like it there so we took the 40 mile (one way) drive for breakfast. He was right … I loved it! The food was great but the fun and laughter with Allie is what made it better!

It's been years since we have been here! We ordered a late breakfast and were very impressed with the server and the food! We will definitely stop again when we are in the area!

Food was excellent. Atmosphere was pleasant. Our sever Allie was fantastic and brought food fast. She didn't fill my coffee cup mid way which mess up the suger-cream ratio which is a pet peeve of mine would highly recommend this restaurant.

Been going here for years. Very relaxed, comfortable environment. Friendly staff. They take great care of you. Great food. Some of the stand outs are their fries, salmon, Cole slaw, baked potatoes, skillets burgers and desserts. Yum!

Well let me tell you about our experience here ,it all started with the WARM greeting from Allie,this is an experience you’d definitely have to come here to feel for yourself.The food and the service is outstanding from Allie … supersedes ANYWHERE my wife and I have ever had. Hats -off to you Allie you make this place thanks for the memories!!!!! We will definitely be back for more !!!
